Student Internship Program

Southern Wake Counseling Center is a great place for students to gain hands-on experience and grow professionally. As a student intern, you'll receive thoughtful support and mentorship every step of the way, helping you build the skills and confidence needed to become the best counselor you can be.

Southern Wake Counseling Center will be open for Internship applications for 2028. Our 2027 Internship slots have been filled.

Supervision

We work with both Counseling students and Clinical Social Work students who are in their advanced practicum placement. We strive to ensure a well-rounded and supportive learning environment.

Therapist Job Openings in Fuquay-Varina, NC

We are currently hiring licensed or associate-licensed clinicians who are passionate about mental health care. Open positions include:

  • LCMHC, LCMHCA, LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist with a current North Carolina license.
  • Full-time and part-time positions with flexible scheduling.
  • Options for telehealth, in-office, or hybrid work to fit your lifestyle.
  • Highest need is for a Therapist who is interested in working with couples as well as individuals.

Full-time clinicians are expected to complete 23-25 billable sessions per week, with a competitive compensation package that includes:

Part-time positions are also available with flexible scheduling options.
